Hello everybody! I hope you had a beautiful weekend. We spent ours spring cleaning, you see it's Easter week here in Greece and we want everything to be fresh and clean for the Big Day...Such a rejuvenating season! Inside and outside! I wish I had more time for my blog, but it' s crazy around here! Hello everybody! I hope you're all just fine... Personally I'm so thrilled that summer is almost here and I really want to enjoy those late spring days, when it's not too cold but chilly and not too hot but warm enough to wear those wonderful, light spring clothes in open colours... what's not to adore in this amazing season! And as always the question to ask is "what am I wearing now?". Once again Polyvore saved my day with these easy, casual outfits anyone can wear in a moment!

It's been a strange, rather difficult week with lots of "ups" and downs", followed by a very emotionally charged weekend. We had our dearest aunt's 40 days memorial yesterday,  I saw some relatives and old friends I haven't seen for years (some of them for many, many years...), I saw places from the past, too, I realized how some things change over the years , while some others remain the same for ever... years are really passing and it's really hard to say the last "goodbye" to people you've loved the most... but it's very, very important to show your love to them while they're still alive. That's all that matters. To love our people when they're here, with us. Endless memories and thoughts went through my mind these days... when you lose someone you love, you are not only saying "goodbye" to your beloved one, you're saying "goodbye" to a whole part of your life story as well... I don't know which one of the two hurts the most, but I always reach the same conclusion: to love and to live each moment of your life...

The last thing I wanted is to make you feel sad. Life is so beautiful, is just not always pink... Certain difficulties appear to each one of us, we just have to learn to get over them and stand on our feet again. Our beloved persons will always live in our hearts as long as we shall live, but life is going on and I'm 100% sure that "they" want us to live happily...

God, it's been a tough week! With so many bad things happening around us, woldwide, you definetely can't feel very nice, even in the safety of your own home... Life is unpredictable, for each one of us. That's the only truth. So, we shouldn't worry so much, if  we can't handle all these  little everyday projects we may have planned.... Plans are made from us and we can change them, depending on our mood or unexpected events.... The point is to feel o.k. with youself, no matter what you're doing.
And this weekend I need to breathe a little, I really do! I have thousands of projects waiting for me and I feel bad about it, but when the bell rings in your head.... you must relax.... any way you like.

The simple things are the ones I love more...

Hello my friends! I'm writing my first post after redesigning my blog and it feels oooh sooo refreshing,  just as if I had a new blog!! A long time now I've been searching for something light, "open", simple, yet elegant and a little glamourous, with lots of space to showcase the pictures and the videos I love so much....you see I' am a 100% visualiser! Yesterday, I found what I' ve been looking for, at last! I'm sooo happy! I hope you're going to love the new design too and you'll visit my "new" blog more often... ,however, I want to be in it all day long......!!!
So the sun came out, in my blog, in my heart and in real life on the sky... God, how much we need a little sun in our lives!

           ....it warms up our bodies and our souls....it brings joy and life everywhere...

I woke up with a head full of thoughts this morning...
I'll cook a soup today named "giouvarlakia" in Greek, it' delicious!
I need a cup of tea... and a biscotti. This one looks just fine! I have to learn to make it...

Hello my friends! We're in the middle of April, but I still feel so cold.

The best way to fight it is some nice hot food! I think I'll make this three-cheese flatbread, I found at elephantine's.....

....that goes perfectly with this Herbed Pea "Sauce" from BA ... bon appetit... I already feel better!

I also have to dye my hair and I'm soooo bored to do it..., you see, it's kind of difficult to paint your own hair, but I don't intend to pay for something I can do myself, using the products I want...
I try to imagine my hair after dyeing, they'll look like this...

...well, that's kind of encouraging!

I rehearsed this oh sooo lovely playful dress last Saturday and I just can't take it out of my mind... it would be perfect for Easter day...!

And there's another little thing I can't get out of my mind, too... this wonderful diamond ring among other amazing and glamorous pieces from LI-LA-LO. Their diamond collection is great and their new collections just perfect! I want everything!

With the first, shy sunbeams and the slightly warm weather my mind is running outdoors. I'm dreaming of lazy weekend mornings, long evenings with iced tea and refreshments and romantic nights, all that taking place at a beautiful porch... or, even better, a garden! My porch is green enough, with many plants and flowers, which my wonderful husband is taking care of. I'm so thankful! Yet, there is job to be done, if I want to reach the porch of my dreams...So, I'm searching! I have "big" plans(...he,he..)! I already have a wooden table and four wooden chairs which we bought when we were still living in rental, but the porch there was bigger, so they don't really fit now and here...and they were kind of expensive, too...
Anyway, last summer I discovered EMU outdoors furniture and it was love at first sight! I mean, it's exactly what my porch needs. Modern design with a classic touch, very beautiful and elegant, comfortable as well, light and 'airy", space saving....but not money saving...! A girl can dream...

I'm so happy! Finally, we saw the sun today, after many, many days and that is an instant spiritlifting, isn'it? The time also changed, which means many, many long and hopefully sunny days from now on. So, it's official, Spring is here !
I'm also very, very happy, because I have a big announcement to make: I have smell in my site, me first worldwide among a few others, like ...Google let's say!!! Isn't this amazing?!!! You my lovely readers can be the first people on the planet who can smell through your computer screen! Just touch your nose on the screen as close as possible and smell these wonderful spring flowers!
